ACCELERATED Training Programme

The Accelerated Programme is my most intensive and popular training option, designed for owners who want to bring out the very best in their dogs.

I will personally work with you and your dog in your home and local area, tailoring the training to suit your dog’s unique personality and needs. With over 40 years of experience as a professional dog trainer, I will demonstrate and teach the most effective techniques to help your dog thrive.

I’ll support you in overcoming any challenges and answer any questions about your dog’s care and training, empowering you to lead with confidence. Through this programme, you’ll gain a deep understanding of your dog’s behaviour and the reasons behind it, strengthening your bond and enhancing communication.

Programme Details:

  • 6-week intensive course with 24 sessions in total

  • 4 sessions per week

  • First 12 sessions: One-on-one training with your dog to establish foundational behaviours, accelerate progress, and maximise learning

  • Final 12 sessions: Joint training sessions with you and your dog, equipping you with the skills to confidently lead and manage your dog

  • If you’re unable to attend a session, I will continue training your dog to maintain progress

DURATION: 24 x 45-minute sessions over 6 weeks

COST: $6,600 payable upfront or in two equal instalments 

($3,300 payable upon booking, and the final $3,300 payable midway through your training programme).

We sought Flip’s expertise with our Labrador pup Griffin when he was 6 months old. Griffin was terrible at hauling on his lead while walking, especially when other dogs were present. The results following a 24 session Comprehensive Training Program have been out-standing. We covered sessions at home around sleeping, how to behave when out or greeting visitors and general advice on temperament. Most importantly we walked – a lot! Undoubtedly the consistency of the sessions developed great habits and most importantly provided the tools and confidence to go on and maintain that behavior. I can’t speak highly enough of Flip and his amazing training techniques, he really is a dog whisperer. I first contacted him to help me train my 4-month-old dogs Benji and Buster. They were hard work and I wasn’t enjoying them much at all. I wanted a trainer who did one-on-one training (or one-on-two in my case) rather than a group session. Flip has a huge amount of knowledge and skill, a lovely manner with dogs and humans, and he targeted the training to my dogs, my situation and my needs and focussed on whatever I needed at the time. The success has been massive. My dogs are a real pleasure now and a lot of people comment on how well behaved they are but they still have very individual personalities. We got a puppy who, at 8 weeks old, had some very extreme behaviours which we couldn't manage ourselves at all. To the point that we were considering rehoming him, which would have been devastating for us and our children. Thankfully, we found Flip who I remember calling very vividly after I had been crying because we just didn't know what to do with our puppy. We chose the beginner programme initially but it was so good we chose to progress to the leadership programme with our dog. Today, our dog is amazing. He is calm, plays well, doesn't bite. He knows his commands and we feel so confident walking with him, taking him off lead and we genuinely enjoy spending time with him, we can tell he enjoys spending time with us too, particularly our children! Amazingly, people have even commented that our dog is so well behaved. This is all thanks to Flip. We absolutely can't believe the transformation. Flip changed our lives. We have a beautiful and smart shepherd mix who loves all people and hated all other dogs. Except for this overarching issue, she was pretty obedient before we met Flip. Whenever she saw, or thought she saw, or just thought of a dog, she would go completely insane - barking and growling and jumping around like a maniac. We couldn’t take her anywhere and every walk was a depressing struggle. After one session with Flip she began improving. We opted for the Accelerated Program. It was definitely a conversation before because of the cost. It was worth every cent and then some. Now she not only doesn’t go crazy when she sees other dogs, she plays with them. We can walk her off leash in dog parks and around the neighborhood and take her to cafes. He helped teach us a few other commands that we asked about and helped us teach her to run with a bike and sit in a kayak. It’s just amazing. I don't even know how to say thank you for everything Flip has done for our fuzzy girl and us! Over six weeks, I will work with you and your dog in your home and local area, creating a tailored training plan that matches your dog’s unique temperament and personality. With over 40 years of professional experience, I will demonstrate and teach proven techniques to set you and your dog up for long-term success.

This programme includes structured guidance across six weeks, providing hands-on support with any challenges you’re facing and answering any questions about your dog’s care and training. By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident in leading your dog with clarity and ease.

Programme Details:

  • 6-week intensive course with 12 sessions in total

  • 2 sessions per week

  • First 6 sessions: One-on-one training with your dog to address behavioural challenges and establish a strong foundation

  • Final 6 sessions: Joint sessions with you and your dog, focusing on equipping you with the skills to confidently lead and reinforce training progress

  • If you’re unable to attend a session, I will continue working with your dog to maintain momentum

COST: $3,300 payable upfront or in two equal instalments

FOUNDATION Training Programme

The Foundation Programme serves as an introduction to dog training, providing essential knowledge and hands-on experience. You will develop a basic understanding of your dog’s behaviour—how they act and why—giving you the tools to guide them effectively.

I will train with you and your dog in your home and local surroundings, tailoring the programme to suit your individual needs. With over four decades of experience, I will demonstrate effective techniques to bring out the best in your dog.

I’ll also provide support for any challenges you’re facing and answer any questions about your dog’s care and training so you feel confident in leading your dog successfully.

Programme Details:

  • 3-week course with 6 sessions in total

  • 2 sessions per week

  • If you’re unable to attend a session, I will continue training your dog to maintain progress

DURATION: 6 x 45-minute sessions over 6 weeks

COST: $1,650 payable in full upon booking

Terms & Conditions

By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and fully accept Flip's NZ Ltd (Flip's) Terms and Conditions as detailed below:

DISCLOSURE & LIABILITY

You are the legal owner of your dog. Your dog’s vaccinations are up to date and your dog is properly licensed.

You have disclosed any significant behavioural issues, medical conditions and allergies of your dog to Flip’s.

If any accident, injury or medical problems develop while your dog is in the care of Flip’s, you authorise Flip’s to do whatever they deem necessary for the wellbeing of your dog. You agree to assume full responsibility for any and all costs incurred.

You understand that there are risks involved in training your dog and you accept that Flip’s is not liable for any injuries, illnesses or damages (of any kind) to your dog or any third party (human or animal) resulting while your dog is in Flip’s care unless caused by our negligence.

SERVICES & FEES

Home Consultations

For Consultations, the $300 Fee is payable on booking to confirm the appointment.

For Training Programme’s, fees are payable in advance (see below).

Accelerated Training Program
(24 x sessions)

The Programme is payable in one instalment of $6,325 (including the $275 up-front payment discount), or the programme is payable in two equal instalments. $3,300 payable upon booking, and the final $3,300 payable mid-way through your training programme.

Late payment may result in the postponement of your Programme date. 

Leadership Training Programme
(12 x sessions)

The Programme is payable in one instalment of $3,175 (including the $125 up-front payment discount), or the program is payable in two equal instalments. $1,650 payable upon booking, and the final $1,650 payable mid-way through your training program.

Late payment may result in the postponement of your Program date. 

Foundation Training Programme
(6 x sessions)

The Programme cost of $1,650 is payable in full upon booking.

Late payment may result in the postponement of your Programme date. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Program Cancellation Policy

For cancellations up to two weeks prior to training commencing a full refund less $300 admin fee will be given.

Cancellations within two weeks of training commencing will receive no refund.

Home Consultations

For Home Consultations, a minimum of 48-hours notice is required to reschedule. Less than 48-hours notice, the Home Consultation will be charged as completed.

For Programme’s and Training Sessions, a minimum of 48-hours notice is required to reschedule any session. With less than 48-hours notice, the session with be considered completed. 

If you are not available for any session Flip will still train your dog to keep up training momentum. 

Rescheduled Home Consultations and Training Sessions must take place within three months of the original booking or will be deemed completed. 

You agree that in providing the training to your dog, Flip’s is not liable for any loss or damage suffered to any property unless this is caused by our negligence.
